PyroTraining Classes for Apprentices!
As always, Atlas is working to make the renewal of your pytothecnician's training as easy as possible, and we have even more options to choose from in our PyroTraning tour this year. Classes are from 9am to 1pm and will be in Meriden CT on April 26th, Burlington VT on May 17th, and Jaffrey NH on June 7th. For more info, RSVP via email to Deirdre Wilson. RSVP at least two weeks prior to each seminar as lack of interest many result in cancellation. If you are interested in weeknight training, please call Deirdre at 603-532-8324, ext. 27.
Pyrotechnicians
Division: Atlas PyroVision Productions, Inc.
Availability: Mostly Seasonal May-September
Description: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid training
certification (completion of 8 hour training seminar) and follow all
Atlas, State and Federal regulations. Responsibilities include but may
not be limited to; unloading/loading trucks & trailers with product
and equipment, setup of display site and clean up of display site while
adhering to all safety requirements. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
and stand for long periods of time.

CDL-Drivers
Division: Atlas PyroVision Productions, Inc.
Availability: May-September, Heavily June 28 - July 7th
Description: Must have valid CDL license
with Hazmat Endorsement. Must keep accurate driving logs and other required
Department of Transportation documentation. Responsible for delivery
of product and equipment to display sites, observing all safety requirements
pursuant to DMV/DOT laws. Must have valid training certification (completion
of 8 hour Atlas driver's seminar) and renew semi-annually.

Shipping/Receiving
Division: Atlas Advanced Pyrotechnics, Inc.
Availability: June 15th through July 15th
Description: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid training
certification (completion of 8 hour training seminar) and follow all
Atlas, State and Federal regulations. Responsibilities include but may
not be limited to; packing shows against packing lists, label cases
and document items packed, unloading/loading trucks & trailers and maintaining
a clean and safe work environment. Consistent lifting of up to 65 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (9-10 hours per day).

Retail Sales Associates
Division: Atlas Fireworks Factory, Inc.
Availability: Seasonal Part-time, May-September
Description: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid training
certification (completion of 4 hour training seminar) and follow all
Atlas, State and Federal regulations. Responsibilities include but may
not be limited to; maintaining a clean & safe work environment, stocking
shelve, changing displays and assisting in unloading trucks if necessary.
Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to stand for
entire shift and lift up to 30 lbs.
